Crossdressers Not Immune to Swine Flu

swine flu attacking Gabrielle

The World Health Organization has declared a public health emergency prompted by the outbreak of the deadly swine flu. There is currently no vaccine available to protect against this dangerous strain, so many people are stocking up surgical masks to protect themselves. Sources say they’ve erected six new surgical mask factories in Malaysia just to keep up with the demand.

Love You, Dammit. Bye!

wife on phoneIs there a specific signal you get from your wife or significant other, when it is time to end a phone conversation abruptly? Some people probably just get hung up on, or hastily told “bye” and then get hung up on. Not me. Mrs. H. and I kind of have a certain protocol to follow – specific words that must be spoken and properly responded to in order to end the phone conversation without an undesirable rude feeling.

I’m not sure when exactly this started. It was probably many years ago because it seems like we’ve always done it this way… or more accurately put, she’s done it this way. What way is that?

It is polite to let the other party know that they are loved before hanging up. One never knows if/when something terrible might happen to them, so we’ve always made it a point to end all phone conversations with an expression of love – just in case these words are the last ever spoken between us.

Getting Busted and Learning to Hate Myself

crying on bed

It seems like a million years ago and just yesterday at the same time. I was 12 years old and it was undoubtedly the single most traumatic event of my youth. The devastating emotional impact lasted for many years after.

I first realized my desire to dress in women’s clothes at about the age of 3 or 4. I didn’t know what it all meant, but I knew enough to keep it a secret. It’s interesting that even at such a young age, the social taboo of crossdressing was already heavily cemented in my mind. It seems like from the time I was born, I was taught of the need to fit in to the socially accepted norm of the “male gender role” because of my genitals. How else would a 4 year old know to guard this little secret as if his life depended on it?

Humorous Moments in Crossdressing

phone booty

We all experience embarrassing, yet humorous moments in our lives. They’re usually embarrassing at first, then humorous when reflected upon. When crossdressing comes into the mix, there’s quite an interesting additional layer of things that can happen. I’m pretty comfortable with who I am and have a sense of humor about myself. I hope you’ll enjoy a laugh or two at my expense.

Collecting a Wii Bit of Dust

Nintendo WiiI was initially planning on sitting this generation of gaming consoles out, but late last November (2008), I broke down and bought a Nintendo Wii. Although not impressed with the system itself or the direction Nintendo has taken in recent years, I just had to play Resident Evil 4 with the Wii remote’s aim-and-shoot capabilities. I also decided to have at Metroid Prime 3 after having played through the first two on my GameCube.

I bought a Wii (Sports Edition), an extra controller (with nunchuck), Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 3, and Wii Play. The extra controller was for my wife. I hoped to get her into some of the Wii Sports and Wii Play games. She’s not really into gaming, but we’ve enjoyed some old school games together in the past.

Reducing Calorie Intake Without Feeling As Hungry

glass of water with sugarless gum

Staying fit and trim is an important part of my life. My strict exercise regimen and minimal diet allow me to stay slim, maintain a good figure, and look attractive. In addition to the visual benefits, I’m also less likely to get sick and will age more gracefully than if I did not exercise and eat right. Some people are naturally slim. That is not the case for me so I have to work hard at it.

My own thin profile & flat stomach (seen below) is proof positive of a strict exercise regimen, diet and the benefits of sticking to it. If you’d like to loose some weight and get into better shape yourself, keep reading. I’ve worked out some very useful methods of cutting down calorie intake while burning off more at the same time. It requires discipline and long-term devotion, but it may not be as difficult as you think.

Babe of the Week – Heidi Phox

Heidi PhoxToday is tax day for everyone in the U.S. – something many of us dread. If Uncle Sam just cleaned out your piggy bank, perhaps we might offer you a pleasant distraction from your woes in the form of the beautiful, the lovely Heidi Phox.

Heidi is our latest babe and for good reason. The camera just loves this phoxy t-girl as you can see in the numerous photos available on her flickr and MySpace accounts. She looks absolutely stunning! Her playful, creative side really shows through in various poses across a variety locations. Fashion sense? Oh yeah – she’s got that in abundance!

Heidi is a gorgeous 39 year old straight male to female crossdresser who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. Active in her church, she puts family first and loves spending time with her wife and kids. She’s a big NFL fan, and also enjoys going hiking and camping. Having taken up running to stay slim, she now has a few marathons under her (garter) belt.

Beautiful as she is, Heidi’s life goes far deeper than just her outer appearance, and I’m not just talking about the crossdressing aspect. Growing up transgendered is anything but easy to deal with and understand – especially within the confines of our generally unaccepting society. Heidi talks about her crossdressing with us:
